I'm only hoping that when I delete local content that it will kill all registry keys it has created and delete anything I've managed to change at the user level. I'm definately going to have to competely wipe Studio off this laptop and reinstall. I think I've blown away half of the user presets by clicking buttons without knowing what they do. (This is after trying it by changing the channel button to all the different settings.) I delete a note on a channel and they disappear from the others, sometimes. When I select a channel and plug in notes on an instrument and it's replicated to all 4 channels. I am unable to mix instruments on the different channels like I can in RU. I'm finding that audio from all the instruments crack and pop. Maybe if I move down stairs and try it on my desktop I might have better luck. Admittedly it remains a largely un-intuive design to a newcomer, but it is just as easy to use as Rytmik Ultimate and becoming easier as they keep adapting based on user feedback and feature development. Some buttons have pop-up menus when held down - other buttons look completely different than they did in RU to better reflect their counterparts and match in related groups. There is a lot more cohesion and compact design-effort in place with Rytmik Studio. I believe all three of those will come in time as changes are finalized, however because the product is in Early Access it is to be expected that things might change in appearance or functionality and remain without much instruction until then. Rytmik Studio's interface, though similar to Ultimate's, is technically a bit more under-developed right now due to its development phase.Īs with Rytmik Ultimate, in-app tooltips and a pdf manual plus some youtube instructional videos really are a necessity for anyone unfamiliar with the general Rytmik interface. Once someone has seen the song-creation process from start-to-finish they generally understand the UI and can tinker around then learn to master it on their own. Part of what makes Rytmik's typical interface unintuitive is also what makes it easy to use and fun, ironically.
